U.S. Inauguration Day 2017: Reel Charlie Goes Dark


Friday, January 20, 2017 is the Presidential Inauguration Day in the United States. Reel Charlie will go dark for the day since nothing should distract us from the job ahead.

Friday we are silent. Saturday we march! Join us. There are over 600 marches worldwide if you can’t get to Washington, DC.

And after the weekend, there are a lot of ways to stay informed. One suggestion: gay blogger, Towleroad began a Daily Resist column to focus on concrete ways to continue activism (particularly LGBT) throughout the next four years. Find your favorite journalist, activist, organization, or site and follow for ways to stay involved.
